Itinerary

Friday, Nov. 28th

Arrival at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, resort check-in begins at 3pm

7:00 pm: Welcome Dinner / Calcutta Auction (with hosted bar) 

Saturday, March 20th - Bandon Dunes

7:40am - 10:00am - Round 1 at Bandon Dunes

Sunday, March 21st - Bandon Trails

7:40am - 10:00am -  Round 2 at Bandon Trails

Monday, March 22nd - Old Macdonald

7:30am - 9:50am -  Round 3 at Old Mac

Tuesday, March 23rd - Pacific Dunes

7:30am - 9:50am - Round 4 at Pacific Dunes

6:30pm - 8:30pm - Suave Cup VII Awards Dinner (with hosted bar)

Wednesday, 24th - Check Out

Checkout of rooms by 10am and have a safe journey home

 


Suave Cup VII tournament format

Once again, this year's Cup will consist of multiple tournaments. All competitions are net, using 80% of players handicaps.

Suave Cup VII
Large Ryder Cup-style tournament taking place over all four rounds (Sat-Tues) that'll pit half the field against the other. Three rounds of four-ball matches, followed by a day of singles match play.


Suave 2-Man
Two-person teams competing against the field over four rounds. Two rounds of best ball, one round of worst-ball, and one round of average team score. Friday night's calcutta auction will cover the 2-Man competition.


Skins
Half pops with no carry overs. $100 entry fee covers all 4 rounds ($25 per round)


Calcutta Note
There will be one charge to the formatting for the Calcutta auction in 2027. Teams may purchase a 50% stake in their own team, in advance of the auction, for $400 ($200 pp). Teams opting not to purchase a share of their team in advance will still have the option to purchase a half-share of their own team for 50% of the auction purchase price.


Tournament Rules/Notes
  • Max score of 8 on all holes throughout, regardless of handicap
  • All putts for net par or better must be holed, no exceptions
  • Putts inside 8" (scorecard length) may be given (for net bogey or worse), but only by a member of the opposing Suave Cup team. Teammates may not give putts to one another.

Replays

All Suave Cup participants are welcome and encouraged to replay one of Bandon Dunes' world-class golf courses each afternoon. Replays are not included in the trip price, but all guests may pay for replay rounds in the golf shop at the time of check-in or may charge replay greens fees to their room.

To reserve a replay round, Suave recommends checking with the golf shop each morning during your stay to see which course has the most afternoon availability.

Anticipated replay rate is $125 (applicable at all 18-hole courses at Bandon Dunes) 


Lodging

 

Lodging at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is included with this sabbatical. Double occupancy lodging this year is back at the Lily Pond. Single occupancy lodging is at the Main Lodge. If you'd like to reserve one of the few single occupancy rooms, register as a double occupancy attendee, then contact Kyle at kyle@suavegolf.com and he'll send you a link to pay the extra $500 to secure your single occupancy room.


Walking Only at Bandon Dunes

Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is a walking only golf facility. Carts are not available for guests unless they have a permanent disability and provide supporting medical documents prior to arrival.

Caddie Services

Caddies are recommended, but not required. SC7 participants can select which rounds, if any, they'd like to utilize a caddie for on the registration form that is sent out in January. Caddie fees are to be paid by guests directly to the caddie at the conclusion of each round. Caddie fee is $125 per bag, per round, plus gratuity. Suggested bag fee plus gratuity is $150+ per round.

 

 

Weather

The weather in Bandon, OR in March can be unpredictable. It's possible that all Suave Cuppers enjoy 4 straight days of sunshine and mild wind, and it's equally possible it rains for 96 straight hours with gusts exceeding 40mph.

We share all this to remind all Suave Cup competitors to prepare for any and all possible weather outcomes, as golf will be taking place rain or shine. In addition to whatever you'd normally bring to a 4-day golf trip, Suave encourages everyone participating to strongly consider bringing the following items:

  • Multiple pairs of golf shoes
  • Rain jacket & rain pants
  • Umbrella
  • Rain gloves
  • Comfortable socks (bring 3 more pairs that you think) 

 

Cancellation Policy / Refunds

Trip is locked in and non-refundable when the calendar turns December 2026. If you have extenuating circumstances, Suave will present them to Bandon Dunes and do it's best to secure a refund, but we can't guarantee anything. Cancellations before December 1, 2026 will be returned via check, minus a $100 registration fee.
