Gamble Sands - Enter the Scarecrow 2025 // Sabbatical Info
Have you ever wished you could go back in time to visit Bandon Dunes back in 2001? Pacific Dunes had just opened and the now world-renowned golf resort was still in its infancy, reserved only for golfers "in-the-know".
Well...unfortunately you're out of luck, time travel is still several lifetimes away. However, if visiting an up-and-coming world-class golf destination that you can share with your friends is appealing, prepare to Enter the Scarecrow.

Gamble Sands' Sands course is already ranked as the 18th best public course in North America according to Golf.com, ranking ahead of prominent destination courses like Bandon Dunes' Sheep Ranch, Erin Hills and Wisconsin's Sand Valley. With a brand new 18-hole course, the Scarecrow, opening in August 2025, Gamble Sands is fast becoming one of the premier golf destinations in America.

It wouldn't be a Suave Sabbatical if there were just one tournament taking place throughout the week, so here's the juice...
- Skins - Optional entry for all participants
- Suave 4-Man - 4-person teams will count the two best balls from their team on each hole during Saturday's round, and the best and worst net score on each hole throughout on Sunday. Team with the lowest total score takes home the prize, and all the glory.
- The Sandy Scarecrow - An 8 v. 8 Ryder Cup-esque competition pitting half the field against the other. Four ball matches on Saturday and singles on Sunday.
