Join us at our favorite golf destination in North America for four days of camaraderie, world-class links golf, and wildly casual competition amongst friends, old and new.

 

Sabbatical Details

Dates: March 12-16, 2025 (arrive Wednesday, depart Sunday)

Cost: $2,350 per person (double occupancy) / $2,895 (single occupancy)

Sabbatical Itinerary

Wednesday, March 12th -

Arrival at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, resort check-in begins at 3pm

7:00 pm: Welcome Dinner - Macdonald Hall (McKee's Pub, 2nd floor)

Thursday, March 13th - Bandon Dunes

9:20am - 11am - Round 1 at Bandon Dunes

Friday, March 14th - Pacific Dunes

7:40am - 9:40am -  Round 2 at Pacific Dunes

1:10pm - 3pm - Optional replay round at Sheep Ranch

Saturday, March 15th - Bandon Trails

7:40am - 9:40am -  Round 3 at Bandon Trails

7:00pm - Awards Dinner - Location TBD

Sunday, March 16th - Old Macdonald

Checkout of rooms before golf (or by 10am) for departing guests

7:40am - 9:40am - Final Round (4) at Old Macdonald

 

The Spring Jamboree Tournament

Rounds on Thursday (BD), Friday (PD) and Saturday (BT) will be part of the Bandon Spring Jamboree Tournament. Sunday's round at Old Macdonald will be casual play with no Jamboree tournament implications, before departing that afternoon.

Tournament Format

2-Person Teams

Rounds 1-2: All players will be assigned a point quota based on their handicap and will need to score that point total over their first 36 holes to qualify for the championship round on Saturday.

Round 3 - Jamboree Championship: Best ball stableford scoring, using 75% of player's handicaps.

Replays

All Jamboree participants are welcome and encouraged to replay one of Bandon Dunes' world-class golf courses each afternoon. Replays are not included in the trip price, but all guests may pay for replay rounds in the golf shop at the time of check-in or may charge replay greens fees to their room.

To reserve a replay round, Suave recommends checking with the golf shop each morning during your stay to see which course has the most afternoon availability. To book a replay round at a specific course, reservations may be made by contacting Bandon Dunes after Jamboree registration is complete.

Suave has reserved a block of tee times at Sheep Ranch on the afternoon of Friday, March 14th for those that want to ensure they play all five of Bandon Dunes' remarkable 18-hole golf courses. This round is optional and not included in the trip price

Replay rate is $90 (applicable at all 18-hole courses at Bandon Dunes) 

Lodging

Lodging at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is included with this sabbatical. Double occupancy lodging is located at the Chrome Lake Cottages. Single occupancy rooms are located at The Inn.

Walking Only at Bandon Dunes

Bandon Dunes Golf Resort is a walking only golf facility. Carts are not available guests unless they have a permanent disability and provide supporting medical documents prior to arrival.

Caddie Services

Caddies are recommended, but not required. Jamboree participants can select which rounds, if any, they'd like to utilize a caddie for on the registration form that is sent out after registering for the event.

Caddie fees are to be paid by guests directly to the caddie at the conclusion of each round. The caddie fee is $100 per bag, per round, plus gratuity. 

Weather

Like many other times of the year, the weather in Bandon, OR in late March can be unpredictable. It's possible that the Jamboree enjoys 4 straight days of sunshine and mild wind, while equally possible it rains for 96 straight hours with gusts exceeding 25mph.

We share all this to remind all Jamboree attendees and hopefuls to prepare for any and all possible weather outcomes, as the Jamboree will be taking place rain or shine. In addition to whatever you'd normally bring to a 4-day golf trip, Suave encourages everyone visiting with us to strongly consider bringing the following items:

• Multiple pairs of golf shoes
• Rain jacket & rain pants
• Rain gloves
• Comfortable socks (bring 3 more pairs that you think) 

Cancellation Policy / Refunds

Event registration will close on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 10pm PST. All cancellations before 12/6/24 will be refunded, minus a $100 registration fee.

After December 6, 2024, reservations become guaranteed and no refunds can be issued for cancellations.

In the event that the Jamboree sells out, Suave will create a waitlist for Jamboree hopefuls. If a registrant cancels after the December 6 deadline, they may receive a refund if/when someone from the waitlist formally registers.
